Anyone who has ever experienced an overheated engine knows that the situation can be dangerous. Engines often run hot as they burn air and fuel. To avoid engine damage, your car has a cooling system, which includes a radiator to remove extra heat from the engine. One of the most integral parts of the radiator is the radiator fan, which is comprised of four or more fan blades that spin rapidly to provide sufficient air to cool the engine. Fan blades are located between the radiator and the engine. Their function is to draw air directly into the radiator.
